what should i buy for a wedding gift?

anyway she told him yesterday her wedding was sat, and he told her our baby is sick, and she said oh well then i guess you won’t be there, here’s where we are registered, and she gave him a copy of the places she’s registered at, i was like what? she’s worked with him for over 5 yrs, and never had a conversation with him before.
but i decided to be the bigger person and buy her a gift, he does work with her and it’s the right thing to do (i think) so what should i buy her, i don’t want to that much, yes i’m cheap, but i’ve had 2 baby showers she’s never bought anything for either one of them, 3 other people that work there got married and she didn’t get them gifts, one person had a baby recently and she didn’t even get her a card, so why should i spend the usual on her, she sent an email inviting my husband, didn’t even include me on it, and he’d already told her our 15 month old baby is sick, so i’m not wanting to that much
i was thinking 1-a digital photo frame
2-a nice serving set
3-a nice photo album
that’s it i got nothing else
some details she has lived with the man she’s marrying for 13 yrs, so they not only own their house but i figure they have set it up how they like it.

Go to Pier 1 Imports, find two of the the cheapest matching picture frames you can, and give her that.
Spend as little as possible. Wrap it up nicely so that it looks wonderful for presentation, but spend as little as possible.
For her to present the list of where they’re registered like that is hugely inappropriate and poor taste on her part, so the fact that you’re giving her anything is more than I would do. She’d get a card and best wishes from me, and not a lot else.
Picture frames are inexpensive, generic and you can never have too many.

They have stores on ebay that monogram names on things. Find out what her last name will be and get her some monogrammed towels for 25.00, or a serving plate with the letter of their last names. Somthing like that is always good.
well no offense but this lady sounds like a b*tch! dont bother getting her something nice she doesnt deserve it . ur putting WAY too much though into this. With the way she’s been acting she should get a bar of soap and thats it. obv. ur too nice to do that so ill reccomend any of the three mentioned above, whichever is the cheapest GOOD LUCK hope ur baby feels better
ok wow.. first of all the lady is extremly rude. if you dont attend the wedding, you dont need to give a gift! and its especially rude to give someone a list of the places where they are registered especially if they said that they wernt coming to the wedding!!!

if you decide to gie her a gift, i think 50$ is reasonable. not being cheap! i would say to get her a nice photo album, but check out bed bath and beyond.. you get those 20% coupons in the mail, might as well use them

Wow. You are being the bigger person. Get her a book on etiquette. no, um sorry, that was lame. I wouldn’t spend more than $20.00 on a gesture. So anything on her registry for that amount or less. If there is nothing left, get her something like a nice candy dish.
If you get her a photo frame, put a picture of your family in it.
