Does anyone have any unique homemade baby shower invitation ideas for a baby boy?
I am giving my sister in law a baby shower this is her first baby and it is supposed to be a little boy. I would like to make this a very special shower for her and I am looking for some unique invitation ideas that we can make ourselves.

Making unique invitations can be expensive, unless you’re happy enough to print the text out on extra thick paper then do something to it afterwards…such as….
-buy a rubber stamp (like a baby pram, or foot prints, or rattles – see hobby craft online) and blue ink pad. A pattern dotted around will look sweet and simple.
- buy crazy scissors and cut a patterned edge to the invitation
- put a single (or double) hole punch at the top and thread a blue ribbon into a bow
- photocopy an ultrasound scan as the center of the invitation and add a caption in blue like “mummy’s having a party for me…you’re invited!”
EDIT: ooh!! Also found this – it has a printable invitation templates! They’re so sweet! Maybe you could do the blue ribbon thingy to these?

I’m planning a baby shower i need ideas what should i make for the favors and what should we eat and etc… plelase help!

My friend’s sister in law had a co ed shower and it was fun.
They had a barbeque in the back yard and by the end of the shower most of the women were in the living room anyways talking. Do what you feel is best and you are comfortable with.
When i get pregnant I want to have both. A co ed and one with just the women!!

For my baby boy shower!
We had to guess how big my bump was in cms, whoever got it right won a bottle of wine/sweets/voucher.
We filled up a baby bottle with sweets and they had to guess how many sweets were in the baby bottle.
How much the baby was to weigh.
Whos features the baby would have.
Playing on the Wii/Guitar hero and so on.
And generally all just had a laugh and opened up the baby gifts.
