Being fun for all ages, the Marshmallow Blaster is a great addition to any child’s toy gun collection, with the added bonus of using a favorite candy for ammo. It’s worth noting that the manufacturer recommends this toy only be used by children aged 6 years and older.

Marshmallow Blaster – Fun and Safe
Normally I would say that my son has the toy guns first in my family, however this time around I bought the Marshmallow Blaster for me, and then obviously my son simply had to have one for himself. I was very happy to buy two since they’re very cheap for what you get in terms of fun. For my son, I was more concerned at how safe the Marshmallow Blaster is to use, since you often hear horror stories about kids hurting themselves on seemingly safe toy guns. With this in mind, I found out that the air used to propel the marshmallow ammo escapes out of the side of the muzzle if blocked, which is very handy if he were to block the end and try and shoot a marshmallow at his hand, or someone else’s for that matter.
We’ve both had awesome fun firing marshmallows at each other, up to 40 feet away from each other, hiding behind couches and tables, shooting mom as she walks by innocently. It’s easy to use with a simple loading mechanism and easy to pump air canister at the base of the Marshmallow Blaster, meaning kids of all sizes can load, arm and fire it.
Things we did not like about Marshmallow Blaster
The only point I would like to make about the Marshmallow Blaster that I believe you should be aware of is that the air canister needs a good 10 or pumps to load the Marshmallow Blaster fully and ensure the marshmallow ammo flies its maximum range – this is OK for adults but kids might become tired quite quickly. My son has managed well so far and hasn’t complained yet, but I thought it would be worth pointing out for you.
