@amazpadz Yep, the lower seat can be reclined flat for a newborn. Completely flat. I am 5’5 – so my shins do not hit the second seat even if it is reclined flat. And yes, the second seat kind of slips into the basket. My taller mama friends do have to be conscious that their arms are extended from the handlebar to keep their bodies a bit farther from the stroller to prevent their shins from hitting the second seat in the reclined position with their long strides. Make sense?

does the bassinet come with the extenders?

Why would you have a 5yr old in a stroller????
BabyGizmoCompany says
@BabyDashiel You are totally right! You wouldn’t typically have a 5 year old in a stroller. We show a 5 year old in the stroller for size only. We want to show the stroller with a child near the weight and height capacity so that those parents with very large kids will know if they will fit. Some people have 2 and 3 year old the size of our 5 year old. So, it’s just for weight and height purposes only. Thanks for the question.
BabyDashiel says
@BabyGizmoCompany PHEW! I had thought you were recommending 5year olds to be in strollers. Love all your reviews! Although I must admit I’m even more confused after seeing the pros and cons of the market leaders. It would be so much easier if there was just 5 to choose from!
I know it might not be possible for you to say but is there a stroller that has been head and shoulders above the rest? One that you really had to look hard to find any flaws?

I am trying to decide between the Britax b-ready and the Phil & Teds explorer. I have a newborn and a 2.5 yr old and live in a city where I have to walk a lot and there are also high curbs and some cobblestone streets. I am wondering if one of them handles going up curbs better than another. I borrowed an older model of a friend’s P&T sport and couldn’t push down hard enough to get it to “pop a wheelie” and go up a high curb. What is your experience with the two?
jworden81 says
Do you know if Britax makes a car seat adapter that fits a peg perego car seat? I have the prima viaggio car seat and I was wondering if that would work with this stroller.
cauffin says
won’y you be banging your knees off the back of the lower seat?
GyansMama says
I am speechless. What an amazing stroller. I only know of its greatness because of this wonderfully thorough and visual video. You are talented. Thanks for the effort ot make this video perfect.

Great review!!! Im looking to get this stroller for the future when I will have a newborn and almost 3 year old and I dont care for the car seat being on the lower seat Im just wondering if I have the car seat on the top and my son on the bottom Im concerned he will be too big cause hes 15 months and 25 lbs now. I like having the carseat with the newborn on top I think cause it just seemed to low on the bottom. What do you think? Im going between this stroller, babyjogger city select,& city mini
dulceyponcho4ev says
@cauffin that is what i want to know especially because iam 5’6

How is the silver color with cleaning? I love the color but just worry about it getting really dirty!
BabyGizmoCompany says
@fatsammers I’m not going to lie – the silver gets very dirty, very quickly. It does clean up really nice but it shows dirt very fast. – Hollie

@BabyGizmoCompany Thank you so much for replying, I think I’ll go with the black and then I can get the black and white cow print chaperone carseat! Ive been looking at this one and baby jogger city select and I really like britax stuff so I might have to go with this one. Thanks again=)

I have a question for anyone who actually has one. Is it me or does the harness strap seem short even when made as long as possible?
RylenAshton says
Do you think you guys could make a video of you pushing 2 kids in this stroller? im worried about hitting the bottom seat with my legs! thank you it would mean alot :)
stevezchicago says
@eykhong the straps are very short…too short for a big three year old, a winter coat, and a jj cole bundle me footmuff…kind of a pain…but winter is basically over here.

hello! I loved your video, thanks for the demonstration.
I just received my silver b ready stroller and chaperone carseat, but it seams that the carseat is slightly different in color with the stroller seat. Is that normal? Both are grey but not the same kind of grey. I can´t see teh difference in the stroller and carseat used in the video. Please let me know. thanks

Hi, I’m wondering how this stroller compares to the City Select? Which one is better? My wife is pregnant of triplets and i want to buy 2 strollers (1 single and 1 double). I was wondering if the BJCS car seat adaptor is easy to use as the B-ready with the chaperone car seat. On the other hand the good thing about the BJCS is that it has 2 big seat and the B-ready a small one in the back so when the children grow up i will have to buy another stroller. I’m right?
spiren84 says
whats the diffrent between this and the b-dual? does the b-dual also not tip when a old child crawls on to it?
