Looking for Baby Competitions review

February 4, 2012 By Pilar Estefana

Looking for Baby Competitions review

Babies are a natural entrant to any competition. At their young age, they are so delightful and pleasant to look at and admire. Manufacturers of baby products look for babies to serve as “models” for their products. Their facial expressions and movements are very natural and appealing to the reader.  Once the baby grows up, they become ineligible to act as models for the baby product. Manufacturers of baby products always need more babies to serve as their models. Companies usually use competition programs to attract the most babies for them to choose from. Competitions offer a wide selection of potential babies for their ads and campaigns.

You can never tell what type of baby will be needed as the next model. Companies sometimes look for pleasant smiles and personalities and other times look for frowning and serious expressions. It depends on the message the company wants to send to the general public regarding their baby product.  There’s no harm in entering your baby in competitions. You might win or get “discovered” by other people.  Here are a few places to check out for baby competitions or contests.

Parenting magazines provide a lot of ads and articles right for the parents. You can find discount vouchers, want ads and contests from different types of companies. Cut out the discount vouchers and file them for future use. You can apply to the want ads if you feel your baby has the qualifications the company is looking for. Be objective in your assessment. Parents always think highly of their baby and feel their baby is qualified for anything. Do not waste the company’s time and effort by submitting your baby’s credentials if they are not qualified. All the company costs are charged back to the consumer through higher-priced products. Review the contest announcements for eligibility rules and prizes. Your baby may be eligible but the rewards might not equal the effort and time you spend on preparing the baby. Nowadays, you can either text your entries or get online to register your entries. Cutting and mailing competition entries are a thing of the past. The internet is more efficient and provides immediate communication between you and the company.

Looking for Baby Competitions

The internet is also a good source for finding contest competitions. Mark the web sites that normally announce contest competitions to facilitate accesses. There are more varieties. Contest competitions throughout the nation and worldwide are available on the internet. You have a wider range of selections but be careful as you might be entering a contest that you cannot physically attend.  Some national and international contests only require your submission of a baby photo and some particulars regarding the baby. If your baby is selected as a finalist, some companies provide travel and expense money for you to bring the baby to their photographing sessions.

Some child-friendly stores, like toy stores and baby product stores, hang streamers and posters announcing future contests. It attracts customers and gives them an opportunity to offer products that may enhance the baby’s appearance or personality for the contest. Baby products also announce competitions in their labels. Check the contest period since some contests might have expired.

Use common sense when entering a competition, particularly with online forms. Protect your privacy and provide only relevant information required for the contest. Some scrupulous people might use contests as a way to entice you to provide sensitive and confidential information. Provide sufficient contact information so the company can easily communicate with you.

Baby Einstein Picture

January 25, 2012 By Pilar Estefana

Baby Einstein Picture

The Baby Einstein picture that would become the logo for the company was drawn by Julie Clark, at her kitchen table, in 1996. The logo is cute and you can definitely tell that these products are for children due to the design of the logo.

With the Baby Einstein picture in her head, she wanted to embrace the natural wonder of children and create a product to go along with all of the things that children learn and discover and experience in their very early lives.

Think about it, because children are brand new beings, every moment that comes along is also brand new to them. Those things that we have learned to take for granted are full of wonder and excitement for them.

Baby Einstein Picture Embrace The Natural Wonder Of Children

Disney Baby Einstein

Julie Clark understood this and all of the products are geared toward the way children see them and other family members and parents can learn to see everything from their child’s point of view once again.

What a refreshing way to go about living your life. Seeing, hearing, and experiencing everything from a blade of grass up to some of the most popular classical music ever written.

When Disney acquires the Baby Einstein company from Julie Clark in 2001, they kept the name, the logo and the spirit of everything that Julie Clark set out to do. The Discovery Kits all come with a DVD, music CD, a book or cards to help parents help their children develop and experience their world in a whole new way.

Currently, there are nine Discovery Kits to choose from and many come in sets of three. All Kits also come with not only English but French and Spanish versions as well.

The first three Discovery Kits are in Level 1 which is the Experience Level. The three Kits in this Level are Baby Beethoven, Baby Mozart, and Baby Lullaby. Each one gives your child the gift of music with plenty of relaxing sounds and pictures to go along with it.

The next three Discovery Kits are Level 2 which is the Explore Level and include Animals Around Me, Neptune’s Ocean, and Wild Animal Safari. Think about what it would be like to take your baby on a safari right in your own living room.

The last three Kits are in Level 3 which is the Expression Level. The three Kits in this level are World of Colors, World of Rhythm, and World of Words. All three help your child learn to express himself by letting him join in the fun and play along with each Kit as it delves into each of the three different genres presented.

Since there are so many Discovery Kits available you should be able to keep up with them as your child grows and get them learning almost from day one. They say that infants can learn right from the beginning and even when they are in the womb.

So, don’t get left out of the big Baby Einstein picture and go get your first Discovery Kit as soon as you can and start your baby off on the right foot.

Puppets Baby Einstein

The Baby Einstein line of toys and fun educational products have been created to provide fun and help your young child grow and develop to their full potential. To that end, they are always trying to find new and fun things for you and your baby to play with. One very popular item in the product line is the puppets baby einstein.

The puppets baby einstein come in several different types and can be used in conjunction with many of the DVD’s that are also part of the product line.

There are four puppets you can get, three of them are sold together in a three-pack, these include Bard the dragon, Ducky Duck which is a … you guessed it, a duck and a cow. You can also get a dog puppet that is sold individually.

You can buy the three-pack for around $25 and the individual puppet sells for around $15.

You can order them on the Baby Einstein site or other online retailers. Also, check with Toys-R-Us since they do carry much of the Baby Einstein product line.

Since all the toys in the line are geared for helping maximize playtime and combining it with an educational opportunity for your child, there are many things you can do with each puppet.

Many people, when leaving comments online, commented about how much fun it was to share these puppets and puppet shows with their kids.

There are some comments about the quality of the puppets. There were some complaints that the puppets weren’t very easy to get on or off for an adult. They also commented that the puppets weren’t really that easy to use or to make them move.

One commenter specifically said that they thought that a young child couldn’t possibly be strong enough to be able to use the puppet on their own.

Others commented that they felt the overall quality wasn’t quite what they were expecting and not what was shown on the DVDs.

Most of these comments still said that putting together a puppet show for their child or grandchild was a lot of fun for everyone, problems and all.

And, besides the puppets, the Baby Einstein brand has a lot of fun interactive toys that you can use to play with your kids or grandkids. One of the newest of the line is the Discovery Kits. These kits are designed to provide your little one with hours of fun and imaginative playtime.

Each kit comes with multimedia elements that include things like real-world images, puppet shows, either a DVD or a CD, a book or Discovery cards – depending on the exact kit you choose to buy. These kits are geared for children from infant to toddler and cover three levels of discovery.

The first level of discovery is Experience, the second level of discovery is Explore and the third level of discovery is Expression.

The puppets baby einstein is a great way to have fun with your child while helping them learn and grow. What more could you ask for?

Baby Einstein Blocks Fun While Learning

January 15, 2012 By Pilar Estefana

Baby Einstein Blocks Fun While Learning

Baby Einstein is a company that was founded over a decade ago. The concept is simple; provide babies with fun activities that will help them learn and grow while they are having fun. Today, there are many different types of products that can be found in the Baby Einstein product line, everything from sippy cups and diapers to baby einstein block and other toys.

Since all the toys and products in their line of products are made with the perspective of the child, they can offer a lot of fun times for you and your baby to share… and your baby may just learn a thing or two along the way!

So, if you are interested in getting your little one a baby einstein blocks kit to play with, here is a little more information on the blocks themselves.

Baby Einstein Blocks

Adam @ 23 months: master of the alphabet

First of all, if you were wondering where to buy these Baby Einstein products, you don’t need to worry. They are readily available online and at many large retailers, the most notable of which is Toys R Us.

The blocks are soft textured blocks in the right size so your baby can easily hold on to them. Each block has a picture of an animal; duck, frog, robin and an octopus. Each one has features such as pulling the legs of the frog and feel the vibration, a mirror and rattle sounds.

These blocks are fun and entertaining and can help your child learn colors as well as animals.

The reviews online were mostly positive. Many people commented that they liked the product overall but thought that some of the interactive features were hard for babies to handle. They wrote that the blocks were actually hard to pick up by the baby. One reviewer wrote that the only way her baby could pick up the block was by grabbing the tag.

Another commented that the feature of pulling the leg of the frog or opening the sun to expose the mirror were hard to do even for an adult, and impossible for their baby to do on their own.

Other than that, most people seemed to think that the blocks were well made and were something that their baby could safely play with and even learn from.

They are inexpensive too so even if your baby will only play with them for a short time, you haven’t really lost anything. You can put them away for your next child or just sell them at a yard sale.

They sell for around $13 online. You may even be able to find them for less offline if you look.

Baby Einstein is a company that was started by a new mom over a decade ago and they still strive to provide the best toys for your baby. It is important for your baby to learn, grow and develop. Even play can provide a unique opportunity to expand your babies knowledge and skills.

To get the baby einstein block kit for your baby, just head online or down to your local toy store.

What is the importance of music education?

September 16, 2011 By Pilar Estefana

In today’s world, with economies failing everywhere, when men and women are being startled out of their comfort zones and awakened to a world fraught with peril, the importance of music education would seem diminished, even a foolish indulgence to some. How can we justify spending money on music teachers and music supplies when we barely have enough to pay for books on practical subjects, on supplies to teach our children to build, fix, computer, to give them skills by which they may keep themselves and their own children alive? Vocational training, work training, and practical arts have taken center stage. In the face of economic crisis, the importance of music education in the minds of many is nil.

It has been said that man does not live by bread alone. Indeed, man, to be man, requires more than bread and water to be a man. Humans have been created, not only with a stomach and a thirst but with a heart and mind, both of which need the nourishment of their own. Fail to nourish these, and the man stands to lose what is just as precious as the life of the body: the man without music stands to lose the life of the soul. Music is food for the heart of man
