No, I haven’t made up a word there – Zhuniverse is what kids are calling the world that the Zhu Zhu Puppies live in, making these toys an excellent range if your son or daughter wants to really engage and interact with their toys. Featuring many different personalities, the Zhu Zhu Puppies each have their own sounds and noises to raise a huge smile on your children’s faces.

I gave in to the demands of my son and daughter and got them each a Zhu Zhu Puppy – they couldn’t be happier to be honest. They play with them for at least an hour a day, dressing them up, checking out their unique birthmarks and making up stories as to how they got them, giving them different names each day (poor Zhu Zhu Puppies!) and staring in awe at their bright colors.

They couldn’t be happier with the Zhu Zhu Puppies to be honest and I’m so glad I made such a good decision to buy them.

Things we did not like about Zhu Zhu Puppies

I always try to include any negatives in any toy review I carry out, but quite honestly I really struggled to find anything wrong with the Zhu Zhu Puppies that’s worth an advisory note. I guess they could do more things electronically, maybe more sounds and noises but I’m just being a bit too picky there.

They’re in fact, very cute! My nephew came and stayed with me a few days back and he was going on about these Ugly Doll – Ugly Buddies that weren’t ugly, they were cute, and how his daddy wouldn’t buy him one but his daddy said that I could buy him one. He then started to tug my arm to try and get me to log on to Amazon to buy one – the cheek!

I went along with him a little bit since I was intrigued and was actually shocked when I saw that the Ugly Doll – Ugly Buddies were adorable toys. They’re essentially a companion to go with the main Ugly Doll – Ugly Buddies toy – a clever strategy by the creators so kids want more of the toys in the Ugly Doll range. The Ugly Doll – Ugly Buddies sit in the arms of the main toy, looking all dejected and lonely, making them a perfect companion for a kid at bedtime.

I actually ended up buying the Ugly Doll – Ugly Buddies for a friend’s daughter rather than my nephew and she is totally in love with it ?

It Doesn’t Do Much

What I mean by that is, the Ugly Doll – Ugly Buddies don’t have any working parts, sound effects or anything that jumps out at you and says, “hey press me here and listen to me sing” type thing. I know it’s not designed with this in mind and maybe I’m being a bit too fussy – there are plenty of kids out there who love the Ugly Doll – Ugly Buddies for them just being ugly, and cute at the same time.

Ty Monstaz are a great present for any kid and I have seen adults owning them too, so if you are no longer a kid then there’s nothing wrong with owning Ty Monstaz for yourself.

Things we like about Ty Monstaz

I purchased a few Ty Monstaz as a gift to my kids when I was coming back from a business trip and their faces lit up when I saw I’d bought them one of the cutest toys on the market.

The Ty Monstaz Are VERY Cute!

The Ty Monstaz cute factor rating is off the scale and it’s the first thing I noticed when I first saw them. They are simply adorable and your kids will cuddle them and play with them for a long time to come in the future. There was a time where Ty toys were a collector’s item and parents warned kids to not damage them in any way so as they gained value over time – I’m not sure this is the case anymore, which is all well and good since my kids can not put the Ty Monstaz down – they love them so much and I’m so pleased.

All the Ty Monstaz have a little heart on their chest, with some of them being able to talk to you when pressed, allowing even more interactivity between your kids and the Ty Monstaz and their personalities. Each Ty Monstaz does have their own personality, but it’s up to your child to determine whether they change this or not of course.

Things we did not like about Ty Monstaz

I did manage to find one thing that would put me off buying any more Ty Monstaz, however I don’t feel like it’s a total deal breaker…

Only One Sound

I couldn’t help but notice that all the Ty Monstaz with sound gave off the same loop once their hearts are pressed, which I found to be a little cheap by the creators. But, like I said, my kids don’t seem too bothered so I’ve got nothing to complain about really.

Xbox360 Star Wars Game You Are The Jedi – Endless Fun

So I was lucky enough to demo the R2D2 Inflatable Robot at a local Toy Fair and I did feel bad for making all the other eager fans to wait a bit too long while I played with the R2D2 Inflatable Robot. I had heard that an R2D2 Inflatable Robot was going to feature over the weekend but what I didn’t know was that it was remotely controlled. Obviously, when I found this out I just had to give it a go – luckily I got there early enough to beat the hordes of eager fans wanting try.

The controls were very easy to operate, having simple sticks for your thumbs – the turning circle of the R2D2 Inflatable Robot was very tight and I found the speed to be not too fast but not too slow – just perfect really. Whilst I was spinning the R2D2 Inflatable Robot around, I managed to take in the detail of the construction which I have to say was very good. The way R2D2 turned and changed speeds was very lifelike of the model in the film, with the decal adding to the realism of the R2D2 Inflatable Robot.

I was very impressed overall and am eager to get my hands on the R2D2 Inflatable Robot again very soon.

Things we did not like about R2D2 Inflatable Robot

I always like to include any negative aspects of any toy before recommending it to anyone, so check out anything I mention below first before hitting that buy button.

Slightly Noisy

I didn’t get to experience the inflation of the R2D2 Inflatable Robot, so it’s hard to comment on that. I did however hear someone say, who had been stood there for a good hour, that the noise of the working parts of the R2D2 Inflatable Robot was driving them mad. I can kind of understand this if you’re a spectator but quite honestly when you’re playing with the R2D2 Inflatable Robot you hardly notice the noise at all – I would tend to disagree with this person though since the sheer fun factor greatly outweighs any sound.
