Mini Jammers – Easy To Use, Fun And Sturdy
When I was at university, every guy who was into sports pretty much had something similar to Mini Jammers. Even when I was at school, a lot of my friends had a set up that was very similar to Mini Jammers. Most of those basketball nets were either badly made or just not very good – this is where Mini Jammers differs from these as a mini basketball hoop and backboard – it’s solid and robust. You know what kids are like, they have energy, like to be loud and extreme, in general, so any sports product needs to be of solid construction to withstand their dunks and slamming – the Mini Jammers set from Spalding is made just like this.
No tools are needed to install the Mini Jammers, just simply attach it to the back of a door with the rim being folded for easy storage and you’re off and running, or should I say slamming. The 5” basketball is included in the set and it really is perfect if you want to teach your kid how to play basketball from the safety of their bedroom or games room from a young age.
Things we did not like about Mini Jammers
Noisy
As a parent, the monotonous noise of the ball hitting the backboard, the rim, the net or something else in the room if your child throws a brick, can be very off-putting and annoying. However, the Mini Jammers is supposed to be for your child so they can develop and be active, rather than about you – there’s always a means of compromising on times to play with the Mini Jammers.
