@Sleepy26177 Hmm, I’m just guessing here, but is it possible your three week old boy is crying for different reasons? I always had a checklist of things I checked for when our daughter was crying at that age- dirty diaper, hunger, gas and warmth. If the gas trick doesn’t work, make sure he’s well fed, has a clean diaper and has one more layer of clothes on than you do at all times.
Also, feel free to add to my “checklist” since you know your child best!

Look up “happiest baby on the block” if you want help with getting a crying baby to go to sleep, it works wonders, It is pure gold, I learned about it in Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, watched the entire video, read the book which is basically a repeat of the video (but the video is much more helpful) and it WILL teach you to put your newborn to sleep.
It works amazingly.

oh yeh now thats a tecnique for relieving their gas. i got to really try that. she’s been acting up a bit more cause of gas :(

@dachhh It certainly can be but I would try the shoulder burping technique first. Only after that doesn’t work would we use this method.
