In this video, Pottery Barn Kids Stylist, Kelli Ronci shows you how to make an eco-friendly baby gift hamper with ease. Choose a theme with a suitable color palette and personalize your gift. For this baby shower gift basket, Kelli picks the Sleepy Time theme, using a soft color palette of ivory, brown and robin’s blue. Instead of using the traditional box and wrapping paper, she uses the Pottery Barn Kids round woven storage basket as a gift container. Next, she fills the basket with sleep time essentials like the Lamb Plush from the Pottery Barn Kids Lamb Critter Collection and the Organic Swaddling Blankets. Kelli says, you can personalize your gifts by handcrafting paper flowers and card tags. To make the base, cut off the crimped edges of a cone-shaped coffee filter and fold it three times, then fold it back. Cut out a petal shape, start about one inch from the wide edge. To assemble the flower, Kelli uses a thin wire as the stem and skewers a pearl and a small artificial flower on it. She cuts a floral wire and floral tape in order to finish the wrap. She then takes the coffee filter petals and secures it around the center and finishes it with a floral tape. Kelli attaches a beautiful card to the flower with twine and places it in the basket.
