LEGO Star Wars Republic Gunship
This is an action-packed LEGO kit that should appeal to Star War fans who are interested in both bringing a cinematic moment to life, as well as the ability to play with a fully interactive finished product.
It’s a race to Genesis on the LEGO Star Wars Republic Gunship. The mission has high stakes; a rescue of popular characters, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Padme? Amidala before they’re overpowered by 2 Super Battle Droids.
The ship is provided with the necessary ammunition to bring the beloved characters to safety. Perfect for flying action role-play the LEGO Star Wars Republic Gunship Race; aim the 4 ball gun turrets with mini figure cockpit, then open the front compartment to grab the flick missiles and restock the 8 top-mounted launchers.
Open the side and rear doors to deploy the swoop bike. Use the lifting handle for easier flying-action role-plays. This fully interactive product allows for full use of the imagination.

– Measures over 7″ (20cm) high, 18″ (48cm) long and 16″ (43cm) wide
– Recommended for ages 9-14
The kit has 11 functions, 8 flick missiles, and can carry several action figures at a time; and with a handle that makes it easy to carry, this LEGO set has both form and functionality.
Pros:
A larger than average toy, very well engineered. While some kits promise accurate modeling, they don’t necessarily allow for interactive play – while this LEGO set has the both of both worlds.
This kit is also surprisingly complex with moving doors and secret compartments, making this a very well constructed toy which can provide a great deal of creative stimulation and play.
Cons:
It’s hard to find an issue with this very well made kit, as it’s sturdy and designed intelligently. However, so many moving parts can be difficult to keep track of, and having not one, but two instruction booklets do mean there is some leg work in order to build this kit.
But, realistically, this is generally what one expects with a LEGO kit, and since this one is not too complicated, the few issues are probably worth the investment – especially if you or your child is a Star Wars fan.
